About Shantel

Hi, I’m Shantel. I am a woman whose life has been shaped by rhythm, resilience, and the healing power of movement. Dance has always been my language, but it became my lifeline when I faced cancer. Through that journey, I learned that healing is more than a physical process. It is emotional, spiritual, and deeply connected to how we move through life.
During my recovery, I made a promise to myself that once I healed, I would create a space where others could experience the same freedom and transformation that dance gave me. This is that space. It is a place where we come together to move, release, connect, and remember the joy of being alive.

Corey Coombs

Corey Coombs is a dancer like no one you have ever met. Born in Barbados and raised in Montreal, Corey has consistently participated in a culturally rich variety of dance forms. Being part of a Calypso heritage inspired Corey to start his dance training at the age of 8 with The Montreal Afro-Caribbean Dance Company, expanding his repertoire in his teens with Fusion, a Jazz Hip-Hop troupe. By 18, New York City provided him with a personal stage for dance discovery, and under the tutelage of a team of Jazz, Modern, and Ballet instructors at the Broadway Dance Center, Corey evolved as an artist and performed in many showcases and events.
Performance is only one aspect to Corey’s vibrant abilities: Teaching is where his passion kicks into a whole other gear! Corey has the remarkable ability to communicate easily and encouragingly to students of all ages, shapes, levels, and backgrounds. He has devised an exceptional workout intensive that channels the groove and spirit of the Islands. His drive to teach has brought him to New York, New Jersey, Montreal, St. John United States Virgin Islands, and California.
Malibu is one of Corey’s professional playground; the fulcrum for ongoing dance classes and private trainings. He currently teaches all over Los Angeles in high demand teaching new students and privates all the while arriving to packed, supportive, and excited classes! He has taught all walks of life, from the novice to the practitioner, as well professionals.
